
Hans Morgenthau
Hans Joachim Morgenthau ( 1904
- 1980
) was a International Relations
theorist, and one of the most influential ones to date. Along with E.H. Carr
, heis one the main authors of the realist school - which, among others statements, believes nation-states are themain actors in International Relations, and that the main concern of the study field is security. His book Politics among Nations literally defined the IR field in 1948
